The seventh annual KooL FM Children’s Day held on Saturday 16th August at the Agriculture Grounds was very successful. According to Mr. Leroy ‘Brother Lee’ Richardson president of the children’s day committee says, “despite the threatening inclement weather, some 300 children turned out to participate in the day’s activity which included workshops, games, snacks & prizes, gift vouchers and back to school gift bags.’

Mr. Richardson also went on to say while he was pleased with the overwhelming response from the children as they received their back to school gift bags, the main objective of the KooL FM children’s day is to assist in addressing the urgent need for unification among youth in our schools and communities, harnessing youth to youth development through social interaction, education, fun and games and showcasing skillful talent; this we are achieving as we go on each year.

KooL FM Children’s Day Committee would like to express gratitude to all sponsors, contributors, helpers and parents including the platinum sponsor – the Anguilla Social Security Board, Mr. Hugo Rey – Scott Hauser – Parts Haven and Upbeat Radio along with Tropical Shipping in Florida, Mr. Joseph Williams and Anita Allen in the USA.

Thank You.
