The large yellow and white tent in The Valley has been dismantled and removed following the end of a four-week New Life Evangelistic Series held by the Anguilla District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Evangelist was Pastor Sylvester Williams, a national of the Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis. Some eight months ago he took up an appointment in Anguilla as Assistant SDA Pastor. Prior to that, he served as an Intern and Associate Pastor in Tortola for three-and-a-half years following his graduation from the University of the Southern Caribbean University in Trinidad.

The evangelistic series attracted members from the three established SDA congregations, the Church’s New Life and Spanish groupings, and many other persons in the community.

There were baptisms at the Forest Bay on March 16 and 23.

Pastors Virgil Sams, Sylvester Williams and the Seventh-day Adventists congregations have expressed their thanks and appreciation to all who attended the crusade and otherwise provided their support for the event.
