A press release issued by Digicel Anguilla on Wednesday, February 8, stated that a new campaign called “Cash Back 2012” had now been introduced following a high profile Christmas promotion. The current promotion is aimed at rewarding pre-paid customers for using their Digicel phones.
John Gidharry, Digicel’s Country Manager forAnguilla, stated: “We (Digicel) are always looking at ways to ensure that our customers get the best value and mobile experience. With Cash Back, we are doing just that. Every prepaid customer that makes a local or regional Digicel to Digicel chargeable call during 7 am to 7 pm, will be rewarded $1 per minute to use on calls from 8 pm to 7 am the following day.”
Gidharry continued: “Cash Back is earned on chargeable minutes during the day. One minute equals 1 dollar, 2 minutes equal 2 dollars and 3 minutes, $3 to be used on calls that night. Only Digicel is giving back to customers making local and regional calls. Along with our current promotions [are] Free After 3 on local and regional Digicel to Digicel calls and Free After 5 on international calls [for]Digicel prepaid customers on the bigger, better network.
