Omar Tomlinson BSc

A Young Anguillian, Omar Tomlinson, ,graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Florida Memorial University, School of Business. Mr. Tomlinson commenced his undergraduate studies at the University in 2009 and graduated on Saturday May 11th at the University’s impressive 2013 Spring Graduation Ceremony.

During his studies at Florida Memorial, he was inducted into the Financial Management Association International, National Honor Society, the Delta Mu Delta and the international Honor Society in Business Administration, in recognition of high scholastic achievements.

Omar Tomlinson is the eldest of four children of Fitzroy and Carla Tomlinson of The Farrington. His studies were funded through the support of his parents, the Anguilla Development Board, grant assistance from the Government of Anguilla, assistance from the National Bank of Anguilla, J.Vanier Hodge Scholarship Fund, and the James Beard Scholarship Fund for 2009. He was an employee of the National Bank of Anguilla for two years prior to his university studies.

Mr. Tomlinson would like to extend his sincere gratitude to all those who supported him in whatever way during his studies, especially his parents and other family members. He plans to pursue further studies before returning to Anguilla.
