The Valley, Anguilla February 14, 2013 – Valentine’s Day took on a special meaning this year for CIBC FirstCaribbean customers in Anguilla as they were treated to banking with a difference by management and staff at the branch in The Valley.
The event was dubbed Customer Appreciation Day in Anguilla and throughout the region served by CIBC FirstCaribbean International.
Country Head Ms Marie Rey and Customer Service Manager Mr Courtney Morton were present throughout the day to make customers feel welcome and appreciated for choosing to bank with CIBC FirstCaribbean.
Speaking to the press Ms Rey said “As a relationship bank, we want our customers to get to know the team at their home branch”.
“We’ve recently embarked on an initiative around the region where we’ve gone out into the community to visit our customers. We are now inviting them to visit us to continue the conversation about the financial solutions they may be thinking of for now and for the future. We want our customers to know that we’re here to work with them to find the right solutions that will help them achieve what matters to them in life.”
“I believe CIBC FirstCaribbean is a safe bank. The staff members are friendly and make me feel comfortable. I intend to continue banking with CIBC FirstCaribbean,” said Ms Dawn Richardson as she spoke with Customer Service Manager Mr Courtney Morton.
During the day all customers had the opportunity to participate in a raffle of a goodie bag filled with personalised CIBC FirstCaribbean memorabilia. The raffle was drawn by a random customer from the line Ms Dee-Ann Rogers and won by Mrs Rosa Smith of Island Harbour.
Mrs Smith said she had never won anything before and felt quite excited.
Customers were also treated to refreshments.
Prior to the event Managing Director, Customer Service Management & Strategy, Trevor Torzsas, had announced that the bank would be hosting its largest Customer Appreciation effort to date, with an event at every one of its branches across the Caribbean on February 14, 2013.
CIBC FirstCaribbean’s basket of Valentine’s Day goodies also included double points for Valentine’s Day credit card purchases and 500 bonus reward points to the first person to receive an approved credit card.
CIBC FirstCaribbean also offered any customer with an approved auto loan who takes an additional complimentary product 50% off the loan fee.
