Over the past two weeks, Omololu International School (OIS) proudly celebrated the accomplishments and bright futures of its students with a series of graduation activities. The school extended congratulations to its Kindergarten, Primary Years, and Middle School students, creating unforgettable memories for all involved. From heartfelt speeches to jubilant festivities, the ceremonies exemplified the spirit of achievement and resilience that OIS instills in its students.
The Kindergarten graduation, held on June 20, embraced the theme “Oh, The Places You’ll Go”. The young graduates, donned
in adorable caps and gowns, radiated excitement as they embarked on the next chapter of their academic journey. The ceremony featured an inspiring address from two Grade 1 students, Paxton DeLong and Khloe Carty, who shared valuable advice on navigating the challenges and seizing opportunities in Grade 1. Their words of wisdom were met with enthusiastic applause and wide smiles from the little graduates, providing them with a glimpse of what lies ahead.
Moving forward to June 27, the Primary Years Graduation took center stage with the theme “A Beautiful Journey – Thankful for the Sunshine”. This ceremony celebrated the achievements of the students
who had completed their elementary education at OIS. The graduating students beamed with pride as they walked across the stage, symbolizing their readiness to embrace the next phase of their academic endeavors.
Highlighting the event was a special guest speaker, OIS alumnus Ethan Harrigan. Ethan, who had conquered numerous obstacles during his own academic journey, delivered an inspiring speech, urging the students to persevere and overcome challenges they may encounter in their future academic careers. His words resonated deeply with the young graduates, reminding them of the resilience they possess and the endless possibilities that await them.
On June 28, the Middle School graduation marked a significant milestone in the lives of the students who had successfully completed their middle school education at OIS. The event culminated in a magnificent sendoff, followed by a celebratory buffet at the picturesque Zemi Beach House. The graduates reminisced about their shared experiences and looked forward to the bright futures that awaited them.
Mrs. Barbara Rolle, the Head of School of OIS, expressed her pride and admiration for the graduating students. “The graduation activities have been a testament to the remarkable journey our students have undertaken,” she said. “They have not only achieved academic excellence but have also demonstrated resilience, compassion, and a true passion for learning. We are confident that they will continue to make a positive impact on the world.”
Omololu International School’s graduation activities serve as a testament to its commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges of the future. The school’s dedication to academic excellence, character development, and fostering a love of learning is evident in the achievements and accomplishments of its graduates.
As students complete a successful school year, OIS students are ready to embark on new adventures, armed with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
