As part of our on-going outdoor adventure activities, the Anguilla National Trust will be guiding a coastal hike from Maundays Bay to Rendezvous Bay this Saturday 30 April. This hike focuses on exploring and learning about Anguilla’s beach and sand dune habitats.
Tracing the southern coastline, this walk takes us along four of Anguilla’s white sand beaches and one the island’s most important sand dune systems. We will meet at the public parking lot at Belmond Cap Juluca at 6.30am for a prompt departure at 6.45am. The hike is ranked as easy and is expected to take approximately 2 hours. Hiking shoes or sneakers along with a hat, backpack, and sunscreen are highly recommended.
A light snack will be provided. As the ANT is seeking to reduce waste that is generated from our activities, we kindly ask participants to bring a water bottle with them.
The activity is free of charge to all ANT members. The cost of the hike for non-members is US$5. We welcome new members. Individual annual membership is US$20 while family annual membership is US$50 and can be paid to the ANT. Youth annual membership fees are US$5. Interested persons should call or WhatsApp message the ANT office at 235 5297 to register.
