REGISTRATION FOR OPEN MARKET DAY

The Department of Natural Resources (DNaR) has launched its Annual Buy Local Month campaign themed- “It’s a Food Production Revolution – An Obligation not an Option”. This month long event, aims to promote an increase in local food production and consumption, while reducing dependency on imported produce. The Buy Local campaign will culminate with a Grand Open Market Day on Friday 25th February at the parking lot- James Ronald Webster Park (opposite Central Poly Clinic), from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The department would like to remind all persons interested in selling items at the Open Market Day to register with the Department of Natural Resources- Agriculture Unit, by Monday 21st February 2021 at 3:00pm. Registration forms are available at the Agriculture Unit.

Vending fees are as follows:

VENDING FEES / SLOT (XCD)
Farmers and Fishers – $20.00
Food Stalls – $100.00
Beverage Stalls – $50.00
Other Items – $50.00
