A group of musicians and singers, who formerly performed in a privately-owned home, at West End, have now established themselves into what they call “Sound-forgers Church.”

The newly-ordinated and installed Minister is Pastor Warren D. Clark of West End, in whose family home the group had been performing for some time now. The new Church is located at Chandeliers at South Hill, a onetime restaurant in Anguilla.

The vision of the church is “Capturing the sound of God to impact generations”, with the mission statement being: “Educate, Enhance and Increase.”

The ordination ceremony was held at Kingdom Vision Apostolic Church at The Farrington on Sunday, November 28, 2021. The Officiating Ministers, from several other churches, were Apostle Elmead Allen; Pastor Leslie Richardson; Pastor Gerard Gumbs; Pastor Jerome Harrigan; and Pastor Rodwell Grant.

Pastor Clark, the recently installed Minister, delivered a message of encouragement to the people of Anguilla entitled: “The Nation and the Church. As a Nation, our strength is in Unity.”

Following is Pastor Clark’s message which he submitted to The Anguillian newspaper for publication with a donation:

“In this season my prayer and hope are that my brothers and sisters, the nation and the church will come to the understanding that with the help of our Almighty God along with our own efforts, we will see the importance of us standing unified for “in unity there is strength”. In the words of the psalmist, let us say to one another, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).
“We are a resilient people, and this has been proven throughout our history. Amidst our transitions, we stand firm, knowing who we are and what we are capable of. Change maybe perceived as a threat that can lead to distress while growth brings discomfort. This process may be challenging as it pushes us to become more evolved.
“We are living in perilous times and the trials to many may seem never-ending. It is indeed challenging for many coping with reality. So, I not only stand as a Pastor today to encourage all; but also as a brother, friend, an Anguillian who loves my island and its people. I urge you to stand with me in faith, truth, and hope. Let us stand in unity and with the confidence of knowing that our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who is our refuge and strength is covering us with his shield.
“We are Anguillians; we are blessed with the state of mind to harness our skills and knowledge to create unique and wonderful things and experiences. Our past struggles have prepared us for this season. To the world, we may be small, but we are mighty in heart and soul. Yes, a small rock indeed but we have made our mark, the world now knows our name. With the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back, these challenges too will pass!
“To the Church, we are the voice and hands for the One we believe in. Our prayers are crucial in this season. We ought to extend our love, grace and work together to help our community become a better place to live. It has been said that it takes a community to raise a child, I still do believe that, because it’s the foundation that our forefathers instilled. There was a time when we looked out for each other; we were our neighbours’ keeper. Much has changed us, and we have evolved, leaving the very essence of who we are, our principles, values, and good morals that helped us to build our community. “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalms 11:3. The word of God echoes this. If our foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? Well, restore them, and rebuild we must! The righteous are simply those who stand for what is right!
“We are the church, it’s our responsibility to serve and help in our community! It doesn’t matter what belief and what doctrines you may have, for there is one thing that must be felt and seen from us and that is love!
“I encourage us to rebuild and restore the foundations that are needed for good governance. We the church help make up the community and nation, let’s put aside our personal feelings and do our part in ensuring that our Nation will stand firm and strong. To God be the glory!

“As a Pastor and leader today, I stand. I stand with the mighty hand of God. I see the need of remaining focused, exercising my faith, working along my brothers and sisters to build a better Anguilla, and trusting our Heavenly Father through this process. I am here to serve my nation, community, and church.
