NOTICE TO ALL MOTORIST

To all motorists, please be informed that the Royal Anguilla Police Force will be conducting several traffic checks with immediate effect to ensure compliance for valid vehicle and driver’s license, insurance certificate, and vehicle tint . Please be reminded that in accordance with the Vehicles and Road Traffic Amendment Act 2020, it states that the tint on the front driver and passenger window MUST be 35%, the rear door and windows MUST be 15% and the front windshield must be 6 inches from the top and can be of any shade.
The door windows and side windows and the front windshield SHALL have no decals except the prescribed tint and license sticker. The rear windshield, in the corner opposite the driver, may have a decal no greater than 2 inches by 6 inches.

Any person who acts in contravention of the provisions of this act is guilty of an offense and liable on summary conviction to a fine of $10,000 or imprisonment for a term of 6 months or both, and in the case of a second or subsequent conviction either to a fine of $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term of one year or to both.
The RAPF urge all motorist to be guided by the law and govern themselves accordingly.
