A number of humanitarian projects, funded by the United Kingdom Government, under the Anguilla Programme, were revisited by The Anguillian newspaper on Thursday, January 21.
The projects were the Princess Alexandra Hospital which is now completed; The Valley Polyclinic, now in an advanced stage of construction, but with several more months’ work to complete; The Valley Primary School, where an eight classroom block is also at a high stage of construction; the Orealia Kelly Primary School, where a similar 8-classroom block has been completed and commissioned; and where work is in progress on the Auditorium; and an upstairs office extension at the Department of Infrastructure which is expected to be completed shortly.
The other projects under construction are the brand new Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School in The Quarter; the completely new Morris Vanterpool Primary School at East End; and the extended Adrian T. Hazell Primary School at the South Hill/Blowing Point corner.
All the projects under construction are well underway as the contractors and their teams continue to work diligently.
