President: Dilano Francis

Vice Presidents: Carla Harris and Charmaine Rey-Richardson

President Dilano Francis, in his remarks, said he welcomed the opportunity to lead the Optimist Club for the year and promised to do his best to serve the youth of Anguilla well.  He also encouraged members to continue the good work the Club has been known for and continue being a “friend of youth”.  He reminded us that as Anguilla on a whole, and the Club, go through this challenging time in our history, the youth of Anguilla will need our support now more than ever.  President Dilano, emphasized the need to have the full support of not only his Board, but also that of the general membership, in order to have a successful Optimist year.   He looks forward to that support and the cooperation of the entire Optimist Club as we strive to make a difference one child at a time.

After the ceremony, persons were treated to delicious and satisfying refreshments, provided by members of the Club, which they willingly partook of and enjoyed.
