The Anguilla Community College (ACC) has designated Business Consultant and Trainer, Mr Chris Richardson, as the Programme Director for the prestigious Chartered Management Institute Leadership and Management Programme, and will host an information session on the CMI programme on Thursday, November 7 at 5:30 PM at the ACC Boardroom.
The CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management is intended to certify practising mid to upper-level managers, individuals with qualifications or experience in any area but needing to strengthen their management and leadership skills or experienced managers looking to ‘up their game’ with an internationally recognized certification.
Therefore, Mr Richardson’s experience uniquely qualifies him for the role of CMI Programme Lead. He has worked in senior managerial roles at several flagship hotels on Anguilla and currently serves as the chairman of the Anguilla Water Corporation as well as an adjunct lecturer at the Anguilla Community College, a role he has played for much of the life of the institution. Chris Richardson is also the principal of Rich Pearl Global Training Coaching and Consulting.
ACC President, Dr Karl Dawson, commented that “Visionary and sound leadership of the inaugural offering of the CMI Leadership and Management initiative is critical and we are fortunate that Mr Richardson has agreed to take up the challenge given his long association with ACC and his significance in the private and public sectors on Anguilla”.
In addition to Mr Richardson who will also be a facilitator in the programme, other faculty members include Mr Stanley Reid of SER Consulting, Ms Sharon Richardson Head of Hospitality and Continuing Studies at Anguilla Community College, Mr Larry Franklin Permanent Secretary in the Premier’s Office and Dr Dawson the College’s president. They will be supported by experienced CMI presenters and assessors Mrs Marva Titley Smith and Mrs Glennys Grimshaw in the British Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom, respectively.
The College will host an information session on Thursday 7th November 2019 in the Board Room on the upper floor of the George Hill location.
