Diamond Jubilee Medal Ceremony

A ceremony was held on Monday August 27, 2012  at police headquarters in which  65 police officers and 5 special constables received Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medals.  The commemorative medal  marks the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s Accession to the throne.

Commissioner of police, Rudolf Proctor, commended the recipients for their 5 years or more of service. The medals were presented by HE Governor Harrison, who congratulated the RAPF and the Special constables for their dedication and hard work in what has been a challenging year.
