On Tuesday, February 12th, DIGICEL introduced to the public eight young and talented local individuals as designated ambassadors who will be vibrantly representing the DIGICEL brand, its innovative products, and its commitment to providing top-notch service to the people of Anguilla.
Jamisha Wright, DIGICEL’s Regional Marketing Manager, from the island of St. Vincent, greeted the gathering and informed those present that in the next few weeks the company will be rolling out the “bigger” innovation referred to — on many billboards across the island — as “Anguilla, something BIGGER is coming”. She said the venture to designate the new ambassadors was part of DIGICEL’s “bigger” thrust to incorporate more local talent in its marketing endeavors.
Introducing the ambassadors was DIGICEL’s Senior
Marketing Executive, Ms. Roxanne Webster. She declared: “It is my pleasure, on behalf of the whole of DIGICEL, to welcome our guests and the media to this momentous occasion. In today’s celebration, as part of our ‘bigger’ promotion, we are happy to present our new brand ambassadors of DIGICEL.
“As DIGICEL moves towards the inclusion of local talents in our marketing and our messaging, I am proud to officially introduce our DIGICEL ambassadors. These persons include: Marissa ‘Matty’ Rey, Rasharn ‘Big Rash’ Harrigan, Quincy ‘DJ Stylez’ Jones, Colin ‘YSM’ Harrigan, Miss Universe Great Britain 2018 Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers, Tyrone ‘Latest’ Brooks, Wendell ‘Bonty’ Herbert and Carlos ‘Nukiid’ Richardson.”
Following the introduction of the ambassadors, Tyrone “Latest” Brooks performed a new DIGICEL promotional song, “My DIGICEL”, which was produced by Exodus HD, a leading local band with which he is affiliated. The new brand ambassadors then gave brief words of appreciation for being selected to represent the prestigious DIGICEL entity. They expressed their heartfelt pride and promised their commitment to the DIGICEL brand.
