Parents – Don’t Abuse Your Daughters for Money!
Are you a poor parent? Are you struggling to survive? If such is the case, is it alright to allow a man to use your daughter to satisfy his sexual desires in exchange for money? The answer is absolutely NO! Why do we say a firm NO!? Psalm 127: 3 tells us that children are a reward from the Almighty God. In other words, children are precious gifts from God. How do we treat a precious material gift from a dear and true friend? We cherish that gift! We try hard to keep it from getting damaged! We do not abuse that gift! Hence, how should we treat HUMAN gifts who are worth far more than any precious material gift? Shouldn’t we cherish such gifts – our children, given to us by the best friend in the entire universe, the almighty God?
No matter how much money a man might offer you in order to take advantage of your daughter, you should NEVER accept it! Giving your under-age daughter to any man for money is a serious case of child abuse! Neither should you give your daughter to any man for money even if she is above the age of consent. How it hurts God to see children being sexually and emotionally abused for money! Also, God’s Son, Jesus, cherished children. Mark 10: 13-16, verse 16, says that he put his arms around the children and blessed them. Parents, be like God and Jesus – cherish your children. DO NOT give your daughters to any man for money no matter how poor you may be! It is far better to go to the Social Welfare for help, or ask any good neighbour or friend who may be capable of helping you in some way – perhaps giving you a job to help out. Or seek proper employment somewhere.
Parents, preserve your dignity and that of your daughters and sons too. Your children will love you in return. Most important, Almighty God and His Son will be well pleased with you. Proverbs 30: 4; Proverbs 27: 11.
