For 12 Days, December 1st through 16th, the Anguilla Community College celebrates its second annual “ACC’s 12 Days of Christmas” series, hosted on the College grounds in George Hill.
The Christmas series features a mixture of free and moderately priced activities and events – perfect for friends and family. It kicks off with a Community Sing-out and Christmas Tree lighting on the College grounds at George Hill, Saturday December 1st. This will be followed by other free activities including a workshop on digital greetings; a movie night; a karaoke and games night; and the merry movements workout. Workshops attracting a small fee will focus on kids craft, a Christmas photo shoot, Christmas decorations, cocktail making, Christmas treats baking, and a special session on make-up for ladies.
Rounding out the activities, the ACC Team will attend a church service together and participate in a community activity focused on giving back.
According to one of the series coordinators, Director Technology, Tamara Pradel, “ACC’s 12 Days of Christmas originally started in 2017 when the staff and faculty saw the need to create an experience for the holidays that transcended the circumstances of Hurricane Irma. 12 Days of Christmas is our gift to the community we love. It’s an opportunity to uplift the spirits of the people around us – a reminder of the reason for the Christmas season.”
All workshops will take place at the College’s George Hill location and the entire community is encouraged to participate. For further information visit the College Office at George Hill, telephone 498-8395 and monitor the College’s facebook page.
