Dear Mr. Editor:

Comfort for Relatives of Flood Victims!

Do you have a family member, relative, or friend, who suffered in the recent disastrous flooding in Trinidad? If so, that is painful! Take comfort that the Most High God and Ruler in the Universe has indicated in the Scriptures that he will end natural disasters. Recall one occasion when Jesus and his apostles were sailing on the sea of Galilee. READ Mark 4:35 – 39. A violent windstorm threatened to sink the boat. Using God-given power, Jesus demonstrated that he and his Father can control the natural elements. Jesus did as Mark 4:39 states. He “rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” This is very comforting! It shows that flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other natural disasters will end.

Jesus will prevent natural disasters from happening in God’s New World to come. That is sure: Isaiah 55:11; Psalm 37:29; and Revelation 11:18. Get to know God and His Son accurately. Do His Will, and live to enjoy His New World where all hardships will disappear! 1 Timothy 2:3, 4; John 17:3; Psalm 145:16 – No one will suffer anymore! Comforting indeed!

Yours respectfully,
Brianna Patterson
