This week, I return to the issue of leadership highlighting the history of the type of leadership we see today, capitalism as a by-product of this style of leadership, our own political leadership and its effects, and the promise of a new government.
The concept of leadership was designed by the Creator to be all about service to others and not about dominating and controlling people. However, mankind has done the opposite. The Greeks were the first society to study and document leadership behavior contrary to the Maker’s intention. In fact, it is the Greeks who developed the democratic system of government that is used by the western world. Three of the most famous Greeks were Aristotle, Plato and Socrates who developed theories on manipulating human beings and how to have authority and power over people. The Greeks believed that persons who were born with certain physical features namely, thin lips, blue eyes, sharp-pointed nose and white skin were automatically leaders. Persons born without those traits were automatically slaves. Additionally, the Greeks observed that persons who possess a charismatic personality, the ability to speak well, with an extroverted behavior, were leaders.
When the Romans invaded Greece, they stole documents with this leadership philosophy. The Romans became so powerful that they controlled the entire world. Rome later imploded and disintegrated into little kingdoms now known as Spain, England, France and Portugal which also adopted this leadership philosophy that they were chosen by the gods to be leaders. These new kingdoms later colonized other countries including the Caribbean. Our forefathers were brought over from Africa as slaves. They brainwashed us to believe that we were born as slaves to clean their house and to work their plantations. We see modern forms of this plantocracy system to this day. They taught us that we were to be seen and not be heard. This is the psyche of their leadership thinking to make us timid. Their goal is to break our spirit. Whenever persons stand up and fight these oppressive regimes, they use all kinds of evil schemes, including the divide and rule, bribery, spiritual wickedness in high places and dark rulers of the world, to eliminate them. Our political leaders also surrender and collude with them to oppress the masses. The oppressor also promotes some of our own, making them feel special, to keep us down.
In order to maintain and protect this ungodly style of leadership, the oppressors produced systems such as capitalism. Capitalism is a man-made demonic system that oppresses and weakens the masses to make the rich stronger and richer. It automatically produces poverty. It is said that “eight men own as much wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest in the world, and that one in ten people survive on less than $2 per day.” It is also reported that the wealthiest 1% of the world’s population now owns 50% of the world’s wealth. The general consensus is that rules are set by the rich who gain more political power, for their own interests, while making it harder for the small man to get by. Poverty worldwide can be ended if the rich will depart from their selfish and hoarding ways.
This type of political culture has been passed on to us through the Westminster Model of Government. The purpose of this system is designed to create party politics. It is a very destructive political system that divides families and facilitates corruption. Our political campaigns during elections are financed mainly by the foreign investors. As a result, whenever the winning party enters Government, it ought to respond somewhat at the beck and call of these investors, while the interests of the small man are pushed on the back burner, so to speak. The investors are the ones who get the big tax breaks. On the other hand, the small man is taxed to death. Additionally, our elected officials have to protect and promote the interest of these campaign financiers through friendly legislation and policies. You should hear how some of these investors speak to our political leaders behind closed doors. When some investors cannot get their way, they publicly rebuke our politicians. The response by Government is usually timid and superficial, giving us the false impression that they are in control when in fact they are not. Sadly, our political leadership is also judged by the electorate as to who is more charismatic, who speaks well and who is the loudest, while the real bread and butter issues of the country are being pushed aside.
The inhumane and heartless political style of leadership to control human beings has been in existence for many years, and has been passed down to us. Capitalism is a spin-off from this type of behavior. This too produces two societies: the haves and the have nots, rich producers and poor consumers. These systems are in direct opposition to the commonwealth economy that the Creator had intended since the foundation of the earth. The political systems of today are orchestrated by demonic agents where the people are suffering and are held in bondage. We are so hopeful that the Kingdom government promised is soon here. The Creator is taking back His Paradise that we have mismanaged. There will be no more suffering, oppression, and poverty. In fact there will be peace, joy, prosperity and happiness. Everyone will be taken care of. Lastly, we shall see the wicked no more.
