On Friday 15th June, 2018 Belle and Beau: A Charity for Children has received a certificate of Registration as a newly accredited Organisation from the Department of Youth and Culture, Ministry of Social Development.
Belle and Beau is a non-profit Organisation, owned by Ms. Calla Gumbs, of North Hill, Anguilla, who is also the Chairperson of the Organisation. The aim of the Organisation is to improve the quality of life for underprivileged, disabled and abused children on Anguilla.
As a newly registered and accredited Organisation (Belle and Beau: A Charity for Children) is now eligible for funding from the Department of Youth and Culture, in relation to projects that support the empowerment of young people on Anguilla.
The Department remains committed to providing support to organisations on Anguilla that are engaged in initiatives to further develop and empower the nation’s youth.
Members of the various youth organisations on Anguilla, which have not yet been registered or accredited by the Department, are encouraged to contact the Department of Youth and Culture, Youth Affairs Division by telephone (264) 498 3792 or email Jocelyne.mills@gov.ai. The registration and accreditation process is used to determine an organisation’s eligibility to receive funding from the Department of Youth and Culture.
