Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla announced plans to hold a special event on Saturday, May 19, beginning at 6.00 a.m. in Coba Restaurant, where persons on the island will be able to the Royal Wedding of HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on screen.
The event is called the “Royal Breakfast Buffet Brunch and Watch Party”. Commenting on the occasion, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla General Manager, Jose’ Adames, said: “Many guests and locals have celebrated their marriage in this waterfront venue and we think it’s the perfect place to watch this memorable event. It will be fun for all in attendance.”
The Royal Wedding will begin on Saturday, May 19, at 12 noon GMT (7 a.m. ET) at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle where Prince Harry was christened. It will be followed by a carriage procession through Windsor at 1.00 p.m. GMT (8.00 a.m. ET).
The wedding will be televised and live streamed around the world by a number of leading networks. The Marriage Vows will be conducted by Archbishop Justin Welby, the most senior bishop of the Church of England, while Bishop David Conner, Dean of Windsor and a domestic chaplain to the Queen, will lead the service.
The couple announced their plans to marry on November 27, 2017, and permission for their marriage was granted by Queen Elizabeth ll on March 15, 2018. Addressing the British Parliament, the Queen said:
“My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.”
Prince Harry is currently fifth in line to the British Throne.
