On March 8th 2018, the Anguilla Lions Club was visited by the District Governor Lion Sherwin Greenidge MJF of District 60B for the annual club audit.
During his one day visit to the Island he participated in a number of presentations which the Anguilla Lions Club had organised to coincide with his visit.
The first such presentation was made to the Tender Loving Care Senior Citizens Home in George Hill.
It was an honour and privilege on International Women’s Day to make a second presentation to the Mother of the first baby born in the month of March at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
All recipients were very grateful for the gifts they received.
The items that made these gifts possible were received from family members and friends in the United Kingdom of retired Police Officer Lewis Hodge.
The Anguilla Lions Club is extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to distribute these much needed gifts.
We take this opportunity to thank the parties involved for their out pouring of support for the residents of Anguilla after the passage of hurricane Irma.
District Governor Greenidge MJF took the opportunity to visit the Anguilla Lions Club centennial garden bench project at the Orealia Kelly Primary School. He also paid a visit to the Eleos Family Centre where the after school program is supported by the Anguilla Lions Club.
Hon. Cardigan Connor, Parliamentary Secretary was extremely happy to meet and share in a brief cordial conversation with the District Governor during his visit to the Anguilla Lions Club.
