17 July 2017 – ANGUILLA, BWI – Four Seasons Resort and Residences recently hosted a prestigious group of event planners during a Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts annual group customer event called Intermediary Partner Summit (IPS). It is one of the company’s highest profile meetings.
During the three-day event, 70 top-producing clients of Four Seasons for the global incentive market were introduced to Anguilla. They met key personnel within Four Seasons as well as local sponsors of the event. This was an exceptional opportunity to educate the most seasoned event professionals in the industry about Anguilla, and show them all the magnificent features of the island for groups.
“This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” stated Ilse Harley, General Manager for Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla. “With more than 100 Four Seasons Resorts and Hotels worldwide, we were honored to be selected to host this important group and show off the beauty of Anguilla and our hospitality industry.”
Local businesses sponsored this event and were able to meet with the meeting planners to discuss hosting and entertaining groups on Anguilla.
Key Sponsor included: AVR, Rickiell Hodge; BEPS, Fitrzroy Tomlinson; Black Orchid, Lorin Richardson; Blue Sea, Mimi Gratton; Couture Concepts, Ernie Hodge; Funtime Charters, Chris Cutler; and Lagoon Group, Ali Laggoune; Titanium Lighting and Sound, Gilbert Fleming.
Sponsor partners were thrilled with the event as well:

Team Couture Concepts was truly honored to have been invited to partner and participate in the IPS events,” stated Ernie Hodge. “The experience not only to share in the one-on-one meetings but the opportunity to create the mood and settings for some of the events to take place it could only best be described for Couture Concepts as the impetus for phenomenal future business that can, and with every confidence will, be done at the Four Seasons Anguilla!”
BEP Services added: “It was an absolute honour for BEP Services to participate as one of the local sponsors for IPS. We are pleased that our special events equipment will not only lead to increase business for Four Seasons Anguilla but also our Company! Attendees were greeting at St. Maarten Airport and received a VIP welcome at the Ferry Terminal complete with a gracious hostess serving rum punch from her tabletop “dress”. At Blowing Point, they were welcomed with lively music provided by Dumpa. Throughout the three-day event, guests met with Sponsors and Hotel representatives to discuss future business opportunities. They also carved out time for a colorful pool party, luxurious rooftop dinners, productive meetings in the Resort’s Villas and a catamaran excursion to Little Bay for snorkeling and cliff diving. After a final stop at beautiful Sandy Island, the offsite activity ended with an outstanding beach party on Meads Bay.
Some land-loving attendees opted to learn more about the beauty and history of Anguilla on a guided ride around the island.

The culmination of the event was a starlit dinner on the resort’s Sunset Terrace where all 120 guests were seated at one long table and served an unforgettable meal by the resort’s gracious staff.

“The employees worked so hard and did an exceptional job of showing the best of Four Seasons Anguilla to these guests and Four Seasons colleagues,” stated Harley. “As General Manager, my favorite moment of the event was the standing ovation the employees received from the attendees. I was so proud of them and grateful to everyone involved.”

Clients in attendance included many Strategic Partners, the highest revenue producing group accounts for the company, and the biggest names in the meetings, events and incentive market.

“We are forever grateful to our partners for their support of this meeting,” stated Harley. “We couldn’t have done it without them and know we’ll continue to work together for years to come on the business booked from this event.”
