The Morris Vanterpool Primary School is in full celebration mode as they observe the 50th Anniversary of the Anguilla Revolution. The school building and surroundings have been tastefully decorated in a patriotic display by the teachers, parents and students.
Along with this, students spent some time making wall charts depicting aspects of the Anguilla Revolution, history and culture. According to the Principal, Mr. Michael Skellekie, this effort goes a long way towards helping the students understand the Anguilla Revolution and appreciate the positive developments which have come out of it. He added that the activities were intended to engender patriotism and encourage the youth to strive towards the treasured positive attitudes of yesterday.
Other activities for the month include historical talks, field trips and a traditional Food Fair and Fashion Expo.
