Mr. Shayne K Hodge of Roaches Hill, Anguilla, recently received his Juris Doctor of Law from the Liberty University School of Law inLynchburg,Virginia,USA. At age 24, Shayne was one of the youngest students to graduate from the law school.
Shayne Hodge was originally a student of theStoneyGroundPrimary School(now called theOrealiaKellyPrimary School). He obtained his secondary education at theAlbenaLake-HodgeComprehensiveSchoolwhere he received eleven CXC subject passes. In 2009, he graduated fromAdelphiUniversityin Garden City,New York, with a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Finance and a minor in History.
During his time in law school, Shayne Hodge assisted theLynchburg’s City Attorney’s office with numerous cases with respect to land development, domestic relations and contract negotiations. Despite his hectic life he still found time to enjoy his various musical instruments including the saxophone, guitar and piano.
Shayne was one of a number of students taking part in the commencement ceremony atLibertyUniversityon Saturday 12th May 2012. The keynote speaker was by likely Republican Presidential nominee, Mitt Romney.
Shayne’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. Brett Hodge, and other relatives, were among the estimated 35000 people at the commencement ceremony atLibertyUniversitywhich is considered one of the largestChristianUniversitiesin the world.
Shayne is extremely grateful to his family, friends and others who supported him over the years to achieve his goals, and hopes to use his educational achievements for the benefit ofAnguilla.
