THE VALLEY, Anguilla, March 25, 2016 DLG Engineering Ltd., a leading distributor and installer of plumbing and cooling systems for residential and commercial applications, recently held a two-day workshop for their technicians and engineers led by a Mitsubishi certified trainer.
As an authorized dealer of Mitsubishi air conditioning products and systems, from small minisplit residential units to central air installations for large commercial settings, DLG brought in Mitsubishi trainer Wesley Tester to expand the technicians’ practical knowledge of Mitsubishi’s systems, further evidence of DLG’s commitment to offering the highest possible quality of service to customers large and small as an authorized Mitsubishi distributorship.
DLG proudly installs and services Mitsubishi products because of the manufacturer’s dedication to quality. In business since 1870, the Japan-based company is well-established across a variety of end products; with respect to air conditioning, their units have the lowest failure rate on the market, and have cutting-edge features such as deodorizing filter systems, wireless controls via Bluetooth and WiFi, and hotspot scanning. Mitsubishi also offers an unmatched 10 year warranty on all its equipment which, as the sole authorized distributor of Mitsubishi equipment, DLG Engineering is able to offer to its customers. Mitsubishi also provides open, easily-accessible support to its distributors, including face-to-face training such as the recent workshop led by Tester. The manufacturer continues to focus on quality and longevity, rather than mass-production of cheap AC units.

Tester was impressed with the depth of the DLG team’s understanding of HVAC systems, and was pleased that the attendees were able to accomplish far more thadlg1n is usually possible in a two-day workshop. “I like working with professionals like these: they ask the right questions, and when I asked certain questions they had the right answers and follow-up questions,” explained Tester, who represents Mitsubishi throughout the Caribbean as both a distributor and as Mitsubishi’s Diamond Service Group Trainer of the Year. “When we’re talking about some issue we’re trying to work through, we meet in the middle and it’s a quick solution. I like working with guys who know how to do it right the first time, so we don’t have issues later.” And, DLG Managing Director Ronald Lynch said that his team members in attendance at the workshop greatly appreciated the chance to receive in-depth training from a supportive, knowledgeable Mitsubishi representative.

In the future, DLG Engineering is exploring the possibility of having several of its technicians also train as part of the Diamond Service Group, allowing them not only to share their knowledge with other HVAC providers in the region but also to stay on the cutting edge of new developments regarding products, installation, and service. DLG has completed largescale AC installations in

Anguilla, such as the renovation of Malliouhana as well as Zemi Beach, along with highend villas like Kishti on Meads. Within the last three years, DLG has installed and maintained over 1000 tons of AC capacity in Anguilla alone, with additional significant projects in St. Maarten and Nevis.
