The Department of Social Development announces the launch of a competition for a logo which would best represent department and all its facets. The competition which will run from Monday 4th April until Friday 3rd June 2016 is open to the general public. The winner will receive EC$ 500.00.
Embarking on this new venture the department hopes to further build awareness throughout the community on its services offered and to create an emblem that fully represents the department.
As the name suggests the department’s main focus is the development and sustenance of persons through services such as educational assistance, skills acquisition, water assistance, foster care, public assistance, counselling and medical exemption; therefore the logo must represent the services and mission of the department. The logo should also include the department’s full name or acronym; “DSD” and also incorporate the department’s colours of blue and purple.
No more than two (2) entries may be submitted by any one entrant and all submissions should be sent to dsd@gov.ai. The submission must be accompanied by the entry form which can be found online at www.gov.ai or it can be collected at the office. Interested persons seeking further information can visit or contact the department and ask to speak with Ms Tanasha Duncan or any member of the administrative unit.
The department looks forward to your participation in this competition and fervently awaits your creative and unique submissions.
