doveOn Tuesday, 16th February 2016, the D.O.V.E (Developing Our Vision for Education) Center, located at the Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary School, was the recipient of ten pairs of crutches and a wheelchair. These greatly needed pieces of equipment were donated by Mr. Michael and Tricia Vining of Boston. The couple who has been visiting Anguilla for 23 years made their contact through Mrs. Jackie Ruan of the Rotary Club of Anguilla. The Rotary Club was also represented at the presentation by Mr. Seymour Hodge who spoke to the other areas of assistance that the Rotary Club of Anguilla assist at the school and in general other community minded projects. Upon hearing of the work of Rotary Club of Anguilla as it pertains to the lunch programme for students, Mr. Vining committed a yearly amount of $1000 USD towards such a programme.
Words of appreciation and thanks were expressed by Mrs. Violet Martin on behalf of the D.O.V.E center, Ms. Marcia Brooks as Principal and Education Officer, Multi- Professional Support Services, Jacqueline Jeffrey- Connor to the Rotary Club of Anguilla and to Mr. and Mrs. Vining. In an effort to ensure all students are given an appropriate education, the D.O.V.E.
