Emergency Oxygen First Aid Care Training for Teachers and Parent

As the Anguilla Red Cross continues to build its partnership with The Dove Center, through the Department of Education. The Blossom Center, through the Arijah Foundation, on Friday, January 8th, 2016, 4 teachers and 1 parent received training by Anguilla Red Cross, in the administration of emergency oxygen. The training took place at The Dove Center in West End.
Mr. Frank Cannon, Anguilla Red Cross First Aid and First Responder Volunteer Trainer, said the training would help the teachers and parent to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide first aid care with emergency oxygen for all suddenly ill or injured students at school or at home.
Mr. Cannon added he was happy to provide the training to staff and would be willing to return in the future.
Mrs. Renuka Harrigan, Director of the Blossom Center and Mrs. Violet Martin, Lead Teacher of the Dove Center, both thanked Mr. Cannon for the training. They also express thanks to the Anguilla Red Cross for its support and looked forward to a continued strengthening of their partnership.
