On Sunday May 10th from 6-8pm the National Health Insurance will be hosting a condom shower event with its strategic partners ACAN, AIDES-St Martin and the Ministry of Health and Social Development. Private sponsors for the event Viceroy Hotel has generously donated food and drink for the health education and prevention event. On the following Monday May 11th the AIDES-group will take place in the health fair at the hospital grounds as observers, and then attend a meeting at the GOVERNOR’S Office. The list of AIDES-ST Martin representatives will include:
Nadia AGAPE René ARRONDELL, cousin to the Chief Minister and Minister of Finance Hon Victor Banks, both members of the Board and volunteers at AIDES Saint-Martin. Larrissa MATHURIN -Sarina RABOANARY and Marie-Adeline THEODULE who are 3 salaried employees of AIDES Saint-Martin.
The idea of participating to the HEALTH FAIR as observer along with ACAN is to acquire a full knowledge of the way about of that organization’s procedures in prevention and testing. Though we realize that we, ACAN and AIDES , stand for similar values and proceedings,we want to be sure not to make any mistakes when the time will come for our 2 organizations to work together in the prevention and testing field as it intended in the Convention that is to be signed on 12th of May with ACAN CEO/director John Lake NHI/NHF CEO and ACAN medical adviser Dr Lanny Hobson and members of AIDES-St Martin. AT the end of the health fair there will be will be a debriefing meeting with ACAN, MSD and NHI.
