The first formal sitting of the Anguilla House of Assembly, since the April 22 general election, will be held at the Atlin Harrigan Parliamentary Building on Monday, May 11, commencing at 2.00 pm.
The main business will be the swearing-in ceremony for all the elected and nominated members.
Official invitations have been sent to various persons in Anguilla, and outside the island, to attend the ceremony.
Information reaching The Anguillian states that among those who will be sworn in as members of the House of Assembly will be the veteran Speaker, Mr. Leroy Rogers; Chief Minister, the Hon. Victor Banks; Hon. Evans McNiel Rogers, Minister of Social Development; Hon. Cora Richardson-Hodge, Minister of Home Affairs; Hon. Curtis Richardson, Minister of Infrastructure; Hon. Cardigan Connor, Parliamentary Secretary; Hon. Evalie Bradley, Assistant in the Ministry of Home Affairs; and Hon. Leader of the Opposition, Mrs. Pamalvon Webster.
