Four upcoming musicians have given performances to a number of Special Education Needs (SEN) children at a function held at the Teachers’ Resource Centre on Tuesday.
The keyboard and guitar musicians were brothers Vince and Carlin Webster, Gordon Hazell and Elson Richardson, all of whom performed for one hour. They played mostly religious music featuring some of the well-known songs and tunes.
The session was supervised by Mrs Carol Webster, a Special Needs Teacher at the Orealia Kelly Primary School.

“The participating students were from the Orealia Kelly Primary School, Valley Primary, Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary and the Adrian T. Hazell Primary,” Mrs Webster explained.

“This is part of a week of activities which began with a service at the Bethel Methodist Church on Sunday, March 8″, she stated in referring to the various events for the week.
In some cases, the students were accompanied at the musical performance by family members who thought it was a good idea as a number of the children might eventually have an appreciation for learning music.
