As the Anguilla Red Cross continue its effort to seek the support of the general public for its “Payroll giving” or “Give as You Earn” initiative which enables persons to support the Anguilla Red Cross with small, regular donations, taken directly from their pay.
Ms. Genefa Fedee has become the first member of the public to sign up to support the fund. In her pledged, she says “I believe that the help and support of the entire community is critical in assisting with your various project. This is a commendable initiative as it is based on the principal that every dollar counts; as such there is no huge financial monthly commitment on any one person or entity.”
She continues, “It is against this belief that I now pledged my support of US$10.00 monthly to the Payroll Donation Project, commencing 25th February 2015.
The Anguilla Red Cross thanks Ms. Fedee for her pledge and for taking the lead in support of the Branch effort to help the most vulnerable in our Community by donating to the Fund.
We will continue our work to promote Payroll Giving to give everyone across the public and private sector the opportunity to have access to this new innovative initiative in Anguilla that makes donating easy.
We are confident that through small regular donations “Payroll giving” or “Give as you earn” will make the Anguilla Red Cross stronger and our impact greater felt.
