She earned her B.S in Health Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree upon successful completion of the three year Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate program. The 44th annual commencement ceremony took place on May 26, 2011 at Carnegie Hall.

She was a member of a research team which conducted a study entitled ‘Facilitating a Positive Change in Physical Activity Level with African American Adolescent Girls Using the Transtheoretical Model’. The research team received the prestigious award.

She also attended Lobby Day in Albany N.Y, where she met with the senate and other assembly members to discuss legislation and its impact on Physical Therapy services offered to patients.

Dr. Richardson is thankful to God for His mercies throughout her time of study. She conveys thanks to the Government of Anguilla for the grant awarded her during the years of undergraduate study. She expresses sincere appreciation to all family members, friends, members of Central Baptist Church, former teachers and the general public for their love, support, prayers and encouragement.

Her goal is to equip herself with additional hands on skills and clinical expertise before returning to serve her people in Anguilla. She urges all the young people, including the young at heart to think big and stay focus while working to achieve your goals. ‘Learn from other generations, from the wisdom of elders and the imagination of children, but always keep a childlike sense of wonder.
