The Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Perin A. Bradley as Comptroller, Inland Revenue. Mr. Bradley replaces Ms. Gecheal Richardson who earlier resigned her position.
In his role, Mr. Bradley will have oversight of the Department of Inland Revenue, which is responsible for the collection of Government revenue and the fair enforcement of Anguilla’s laws.
The young Anguillian graduated from Howard University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and later attained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Durham University.
He joined the Anguilla Public Service in 2005 where he has worked in the Ministry of Finance in various positions. These have included Compliance Manager where he over saw matters related to international tax and transparency and Anguilla’s network of tax information exchange agreements, including FATCA as well as a brief stint as Deputy Registrar of Companies before moving on to the Office of Trade and Investment.
Commenting on his new appointment Mr. Bradley said that he was excited to be joining the team at Inland Revenue and looked forward to the challenges and opportunities which the position presented. He also expressed gratitude to the PSC for providing him with the opportunity to serve in this position, as well as the Governor’s Office, and his colleagues in the Ministry for their support and encouragement.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Dr. Aidan Harrigan, speaking on behalf of the Chief Minister and staff in the Ministry, has congratulated Mr. Bradley on moving to this new stage of his public service career and wishes him well in the months and years ahead.
