Talented Teen. The two hour session was conducted by Ms. Sharon Richardson, Director of Hospitality Studies at the Anguilla Community College.
After the training session, transportation was sponsored by Vanterpool’s Taxi Service for the students to visit Cuisinart Golf Resort and Spa and Paradise Cove to gain additional insight in customer service and Anguilla’s tourism product. The students met with Mr. Chris Richardson, Executive Assistant Manager who spoke to the students about the importance of providing excellent customer service to ensure your guests’ expectations are exceeded.

The students were also given the opportunity to observe and speak to other persons working in the hotel including those in the Spa and in the restaurants at Cuisinart Resort.

After completing the visit to Cuisinart Resort, the students visited Paradise Cove where they toured the property and were pleasantly surprised by hors d’oeuvres and beverages sponsored by Mrs. Sherille Hughes, the manager of the property.

The contestants were very enthusiastic and indicated that the training session and visits were very helpful in helping to shape their thoughts and future behavior towards customer service.
The Anguilla Community College is a proud sponsor of the Mr. and Miss Talented Teen Competition. The winning male and female will both receive a 50% tuition scholarship to pursue an Associate Degree at the College starting in September 2014.

Earlier in 2014, the Anguilla Community College also awarded 50% tuition scholarships to the winners of the Mr. and Ms. Year 5, 2014, Ms. Kristina Davis and Mr. Shaquan Lake. They have both completed their fifth form studies and are looking forward to starting their Associate Degrees with the College in September.

The Anguilla Community College takes this opportunity to wish all the contestants in the Mr. and Miss Talented Teen ‘good luck’ in the upcoming pageant. We hope that all the contestants will consider expanding their possibilities at the Anguilla Community College in September, 2014. The pageant will be held on August 5th, 2014 at 8pm at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre.
