ANGUILLA, BWI – Emerging from a recent renovation which has helped generate top industry kudos,Cap Juluca continues to draw top international travel journalists.
Charles and Linda Hickox – the original and current owners of the iconic Caribbeanresort –understand the importance of promoting Anguilla as a top Caribbean destination, so they recently hosted a group of respected writers, includingIanthe Butt, British Airways inflight High Life; Kendall Cronstrom, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens; Bob Curley, About.com/Caribbean;Jenna Mahoney, Bridal Guide; Korena Bolding Sinnett, Virtuoso Life; and Lynn Walker, Southern Bride.
The group reveled in three full days on beautifulAnguilla, with a carefully planned itinerary highlighting the very best of the resort and Anguilla’s beaches, including paddle boarding, kayaking, a sunset sail, dinners in Spice and Pimmsand plenty of beach time.
Cap Juluca’s popular and ever affable Cardigan Connor kept guests busy as he played host to many of the activities –including a rousing game of Bocce. This former star cricketer has parlayed his athletic prowess into his current role as the director of activities for Cap Juluca. In his spare time, he continues to train Anguilla youth–teaching them to play cricket.
The trip culminated with a lovely farewell dinner at Pimms in which The Anguillian publisher and editor Nat Hodge attended.
