His music is available on the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, My Space and You Tube; and one of his songs, “Reservation”, has been rated number one in Germany.Early in February, 2012, he will be launching a new album featuring such tunes as “Emergency”, “Bad Mind”, “Days of my Life”, “Reservation”,“Song of Praise”, “Rising”, “One Nation” and “Unity”. Khule, a mason by trade, was inspired by Reggaeand R&B. He vowed at an early age that music would be his ticket to a better life for him and his mother. His main goal is “to unite ghetto youth and lead them to more productive things outside that area”. He “thinks peace and awareness, and more positive chances, can help to reverse the negative cycle” of life. Now out, is his new single and popular performance piece called “Emergency”. Shot in Jamaica, where he returned in 2010, since leaving for Anguilla at the age of six, the video depicts graphic images of everyday life in the ghetto. “Family is very important to Jay Khule who lost his father at the age of four and only had his mother to lean on,” Rifa wrote. “His faith in God and his love for music led him through many hard times. Always singing, he knew his chance would come some day, when he could use his music to uplift others. With songs like “Emergency”, “My Jamaican Girl” and “Rising”, Jay Khule is definitely rising to the top. Talented, disciplined and motivated, nothing is going to stop him.” |
