LIME ANGUILLA LAUNCHES DO-IT-YOURSELF “MY PLAN”

For the first time, LIME Anguilla has launched a mobile service where customers can choose a plan they think suits them best. It is called “My Plan”. It is a 24-month plan where customers can select the bundle that is right for them and get the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 for half price.

“My Plan” was launched by LIME Anguilla on Thursday, October 10, and is also being rolled out in the other regional territories. The colourful launching ceremony was held at the pool side at La Vue Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre and was attended by a number of specially invited persons doing business with the telecommunications company.

Mark Romney, LIME’s General Manager in Anguilla, told the customers in part: “It is all about you. As we roll out, you are getting the first view of the new ‘My Plan.’” As we said, ‘“My plan is your Plan’. You have the ability to choose what you want from the menu, so to speak. You have the ability to select what minute bundle you would wish; what data you would wish; and, of course, what text bundle you would wish.
DSC_6804“One of the more exciting features coming from this new initiative, that we have, is that you will also have to ability to go online from the convenience of your home, or from the convenience of your mobile device, and select what you want.” He reminded customers that LIME had provided the latest in the Smart Phones as well as the Tablets – the Galaxy, the Ipad or other such devices.

“Once you get online, you will not just be able to see how your price will change as you make the various selections,” Mr Romney went on. “What is even more attractive, for the selection of your plan, is the fact that you will see what discount you will receive on your handsets and, in some cases, the handset is even free. ‘My plan’ gives you choice. It is all about value and all about control. Those are the buzz words.”

LIME’s Marketing Manager in Anguilla, Jade Reymond, presented a short video about the company’s new offer. “There are five key elements of ‘My Plan’,” she explained. “They include flexible plan; customise your plan; and rollover, where we added a new element. You now have the ability to not only rollover your minutes, but also your unused data and text.We have now added a new element where you have the availability of not taking any contract with us. You also have the ability of sharing your plan with your family and friends; and there are cheaper handsets – taking it as far as offering you free handsets depending on the contract you take with us.”

Ms Reymond stated that among the main benefits of the new ‘My Plan’ was that the various packages allowed customers to call anywhere. “There are no more restrictions (with very few exceptions) giving you the freedom of being able to call practically anywhere in the world,” she added.

During the launching ceremony, a number of LIME Agents discussed the new initiative to customers. The large number of persons in attendance had the opportunity to participate in various prize-winning competitions in which many of them received prizes of handsets and cups.
