To address this, Mr. Connor sought and received Executive Council (EXCO) approval in October 2024 for an initiative allowing businesses to register official company names using .ai as a corporate suffix. No longer just a domain name, .ai is now a powerful corporate branding tool: one name, one identity, globally recognizable. For example, a domain like Robotics.ai can become a registered company: Robotics.AI or Robotics, Anguilla Incorporated.

“We’re seeing millions from renewals,” said Connor. “But there’s a gap in local ownership. Our people are not fully aware of the opportunity.”

Local pricing is approximately $150 for 8 years. Yet many locals aren’t seizing this chance. “There’s a lack of awareness about domain ownership and its potential as a business asset,” Connor added.
