Additionally, as a casual spectator, H.E. Governor Crouch was also present to enjoy the fun-filled activities that marked a symbolic highlight of the harmony that ought to exist between the employer and the employee.
Amidst the hype of noisy chatter and cheerful laughter, competitive acts played out on the wet field included 400 meter races in male and female categories; four-legged race; potato race; spelling race; egg ‘n spoon race; thread di needle race; suck it up; noodle toss; heavy ball throw; wiggle ball throw; male and female bottle race; and the hilarious tug-of-war.
At the end of play, Cap Juluca Belmond Resort emerged the Champion with 152 points; in second was Four Seasons Resort with 139 points; the Government of Anguilla came in third with 123 points; the Royal Anguilla Police Force came in fourth with 89 points; the Department of Health made it in at fifth with a total of 86 points, while ANGLEC trailed sixth with 68 points.
