In the month of September during the Resort’s annual closure, Dart, owner of Four Seasons Resort Anguilla, hosted some of the property’s talented culinary and restaurant service team in Grand Cayman. Two groups of four employees spent a week training with Dart’s renowned food and beverage leadership team, gaining knowledge and advice on topics from administrative logistics and new menu creation to service standards and business and event operations.
“Being given engaging chances like this are what sparks our imagination and makes us truly value where we work,” says Julian Hodge, Food and Beverage Supervisor, Four Seasons Resort Anguilla. “Dart’s dedication to our team drives us to continue going above and beyond every day providing the highest level of care and personalized guest service that truly sets our Resort apart.”
The training was held at Grand Cayman’s popular dining venue Ms. Piper’s Kitchen + Garden, which is hidden away in the heart of the island’s Seven Mile Beach. The resort’s culinary leaders in attendance ranged in roles from Junior Executive Sous Chef to Food and Beverage Manager and were led by the restaurant’s Director of Operations Carlos Arpal, Head Chef Ayelen Esquef, Food and Beverage Manager Erick Gutierrez, and Chef de Partie Nicholas Alejo.
“Dart prioritizes investing in the development of our employees and encourages them to take advantage of unique training experiences,” say Enrique Tasende, Senior Vice President of Active Investments, Dart Enterprises. “We’re proud to offer opportunities such as experiencing the culture and best practices of another Caribbean Island to set up our hospitality professionals for continued success.”
