Can something come from nothing? Did life really come from non-life? Is the whole universe just a random accident? And… where do dinosaurs fit in??

The debate over the origins of the universe has been ongoing for centuries. The biblical account of creation is that the eternal, all powerful God created the universe and all that is in it, including life, in just 6 days. This belief is central to the Christian faith and it provides a moral and ethical foundation for human society.

On the other hand, the Big Bang theory suggests that the universe began with a massive explosion (of nothing) and that all life forms evolved from non-life. These beliefs have had many unfortunate consequences such as the decay of the moral fabric of society, and the devaluing of life.

Both Christians and non-Christian scientists agree that there are severe problems with Darwin’s theory of evolution and that all observable evidence in nature point towards an intelligent designer, or, a Creator.
The Creation Showcase is an event hosted by the Central Baptist Church which explores all of these topics. Come and find out more about the issues with the theory of evolution and the scientific evidence that supports the Bible’s account of the origin of the universe. There will also be displays and presentations on exciting topics such as dinosaurs co-existing with humans, the Flood and Noah’s ark, how nature inspires human inventions and the evils inspired by Darwin’s theory of evolution.

The Creation Showcase runs from May 1st to May 10th, 2023, at the Central Baptist Church in Rey Hill. There will be an open house from 1pm daily which will transition into presentations and discussions from 7pm each night. Morning visits can be arranged by calling 584-9217 or 729-1860.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Creation Showcase. Don’t miss out on this exciting event!
