The Valley Primary School Golden Horses has won the 2023 Inter-Primary School Sports Day.
The Valley Primary School’s Golden Horses galloped the fastest, and made their team victorious over all the others, scoring 577 points. In second place was the Orealia Kelly Primary with 469 points and third the Alwyn Richardson Primary with 316 points. The Home School trailed in fourth position with 173 points.
It was around 10:00 on Wednesday morning, March 29th, that the Honourable Minister of Education and Social Development, Ms. Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers, declared open the Inter-Primary School Sports Day.
Crowds filled the stands and even more spectators kept lining up at the gate to make their entrance onto the grounds of the James Ronald Webster Park to enjoy the intriguing track and field competition.
Throughout the day loud shouts and screaming cheers spurred on the racers who pushed as hard as they could in every race to add points to their school seeking for victory at the end of the day.
Hats Off and Congratulations to Valley Primary for being champions for yet another year.
The 2023 Inter-Primary School Sports Day was sponsored by Haskins Ltd., agents for Tropical Shipping.
