Team Anguilla Starting XI in Friendly Match Against St. Martin

On Friday 24th March, 2023, the Anguilla Senior Men National Team will get the opportunity to face St. Lucia for their fourth and final match in the CONCACAF Nations League Competition at The Raymond E. Guishard Technical Centre at 3:00 pm.
The Senior Men began their journey in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualifiers on June 2nd 2022.
The 2022–23 CONCACAF Nations League is the second season of the CONCACAF Nations League, an international association football competition involving the men’s national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF. The group phase of the tournament – the final tournament which will decide the champions, will be played in June 2023.
The Nations League also serves as a qualifier for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Anguilla’s first interaction with the competition was against Dominica at home (Raymond E Guishard Technical Centre) on June 2nd 2022; the match was a draw 0-0. The team faced Dominica again on June 5th at Warner Park in St Kitts, resulting yet again in a draw, 1-1. The third match in this qualifiers period was against St. Lucia at the Darren Sammy Cricket Grounds in St. Lucia where they lost 2-0 to St. Lucia.

The Team is currently training every day on the Anguilla Football Association Stadium grounds lead by Head Coach Nigel Connor.
Coach Connor has expressed confidence in the performance of the team and stays optimistic on them winning for Anguilla.
The team also competed against Saint Martin on Saturday 4th March, 2023, in a Friendly encounter. The Match ended in a draw, 2-2.
The Anguilla Football Association is inviting the general public to join in and support the Men’s Senior National Team as they show their patriotism to Anguilla on 24th March, 2023.
