APPOINTMENT OF ELECTRICITY COMMISSIONER

Wednesday 20 July 2022, Her Excellency the Governor, in accordance with section 35 of the Electricity Act, appointed Mr Ralph V C Hodge MBE as the Electricity Commissioner.

On Mr Hodge’s appointment, Her Excellency the Governor said:
“I am pleased to appoint Mr Hodge as the Electricity Commissioner. He brings a wealth of experience to this important role having served in a number of senior roles within the Anguilla Public Service, and across the region as a Director of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank.”
In accepting the appointment Mr Hodge said:
“It is always an honour to serve in the development of one’s homeland.”
NOTES:
The Electricity Commissioner plays a regulatory and consumer protection role as set out in the Electricity Act.
The instrument of appointment will be published in the Official Gazette.
