Mr. Joseph “JoeB” Williams, Tropical Shipping USA, LLC, Premier, Dr. Lorenzo Webster, doctors, coworkers and friends in the United States of America, have once again donated to the annual “back to school” programme to assist students at various schools on Anguilla.

On Thursday, September 01, Ms Monique Webster, assisted by Ms Dolikin Harrigan, celebrated another successful back to school presentation of making students and parents happy. Donated were water bottles, lunch bags and backpacks filled with essential school supplies for the children.

Mr. Joseph “JoeB” Williams reiterated that he approached willing partners who also wanted to ensure that all children have what they need to begin the new school year. He said it could be discouraging to those who might not have as much, to see others with new things, “so, we try to do as much as possible to provide for those in need. They too are valued, and their education, as part of this community, is also important. We may not be able to touch all, but the point is for those of us, who can, to do our part.”
This year Mr. Williams was unable to make his regular summer visit to the island. Nevertheless, he made sure that the students can still receive their school items.

Parents, students and guardians expressed much gratitude to all dedicated and committed sponsors, contributors and helpers, namely:

Mr. Joseph “Joe B” Williams, Tropical Shipping USA, LLC, Jackie Roger’s, Sincere 2000 Foundation, Dr. Vanessa Vizcaino, Merrilee Gorman, Paul Calise, Katherine Chacon, Premier, Dr. Lorenzo Webster, GiGi Espinosa and Mom, Mark Davis, Government of Anguilla, Education Department, Arian Freight & Custom Brokerage, Customs Department, Principal and Staff of Vivien Vanterpool Primary School, Paula Connor, Elridge Richardson, Monique Webster, Dolikin Harrigan, Semone Proctor, Anonymous Helpers and Mary Ellen Dunsmore.

As one parent said, “all items are appreciated and go a long way, and I say thanks to everyone – and keep doing the good work. God will bless you all.”
Ms Monique Webster wishes all parents, teachers and students much success in the upcoming new school year.
