The Anguilla Lions Club(ALC) held its annual installation ceremony for the Lionistic year 2022 to 2023 on July 2nd, 2022. We were delighted to have had Immediate Past Zone Chairman from the St Maarten Lions Club, Mr Alphons Gumbs (MJF), to conduct the installation of one new member to the club, and the new officers for the Lionistic year.

The new board members are: Ms Bernadine Romney, President
Mrs Ernie Hodge-Carty (MJF), 1st Vice President
Ms Tiffany Hughes, 2nd Vice President
Ms Naomi Williams, Secretary
Ms Ann Gumbs, Treasurer/Tailtwister

Additionally, a number of Lions were installed as chairpersons of various committees within the club.
Lion President, Bernadine Romney, has been a lion for more than thirty years and has served in several capacities. Under the theme “Building on the past – preparing for the future in lionism 2022-2023’, the Lion President has pledged her support and commitment for continued service to the less fortunate among us.
The highlight of the installation ceremony was the award of the Melvin Jones Fellow (MJF) to Lion Civilla Kentish.
