ANGUILLA GET SET ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME – TRAINING CURRICULUM

The Anguilla Youth Business Foundation (AYBF) concluded its Train the Trainers Workshop on Friday, 29th April 2022. The training focused on developing a training curriculum for the AYBF’s flagship programme, The Anguilla GET SET Entrepreneurial Training Programme.

The week-long training workshop was facilitated by Mr. Shedron Collins, General Manager of Youth Business Trinidad, and Mrs. Cardelle Ferguson, General Manager of Barbados Youth Business Trust.

The training focused on various areas such as:
– Understanding the Current Process Flow and Programme goals
– Review of the current AYBF Training Programme
– Explanation and Training on New Theories
– Capacity Development: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Marketing and Promotion
– Aftercare support
– Mapping ‘To Be’ process
– Entrepreneur Feedback
– Building AYBF New Curriculum content and implementation

The AYBF council members, and staff, facilitators, trainers and committee members attended and participated in the training.
The new curriculum will be enhancing the existing training programmes of the Anguilla GET SET Entrepreneurial Training Programme.

The Anguilla GET SET Entrepreneurial Programme targets young persons between the ages of 18 – 35. The Programme offers business development training, business plan development services, business mentorship and start-up funding.

The Anguilla Youth Business Foundation (AYBF) is a business service organisation established by the Department of Youth and Culture (DYC) and the Anguilla National Youth Council (ANYC), under the Anguilla Foundation Act, to provide business development and support services to young people residing in Anguilla.
