The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Anguilla is celebrating another 29 local students who were named to the Campus Honour Roll for Semester One 2021/2022.

Keneka Bailey, Giselle Bartlett-Barrett, Nadia Benjamin-Linton, Shanette Mcdowall, Tavalei Brooks, Sherine Brooks, Amorelle Bryan-Hodge, Nakeema Duncan-Brodie, Tyeisha Emmanuel, Sherrine Francis Johnson, Kyla Freeman, Renae Graham, Daneice Hodge, Germaine Hodge, Ronequa Hodge, Rukeya Jeffers, Colincia Liburd, Valencia Maynard, Khadijah Muhammad, Markesha Myer, Raemisha Petty, Keri Richardson, Jonesha Richardson, Keiandra Robinson, Stephanie Ryan, Denise Samuel, Kern Saunders, Marva Smith and Akilah Thompson – were among the 819 students from across the UWI Open Campus Sites who received this honour for their outstanding performance during Semester One.

The UWI Campus Honour Roll recognises Undergraduate Students in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education programmes who earn a minimum semester Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6 during Semesters One and Two. The students must have registered for at least three courses for a total of nine credit hours. Their inclusion on the Campus Honour Roll is one of the ways in which The UWI Open Campus recognises excellence.

In congratulating the local Students, Country Manager and Manager for the UWI Open Campus British Overseas Territories, Dr. Phyllis Fleming-Banks noted that it was important to recognise these outstanding achievements, as most of these students were able to excel, while managing three or more courses, in addition to their job, family and other responsibilities. This is indeed inspiration for all of us, as well as current and future students.
The names of all Honour Roll Students are published on The UWI Open Campus website. The UWI Open Campus Anguilla Students will be further celebrated during the annual Certificate Presentation and Awards Ceremony at the end of the academic year in July 2022.

The UWI Open Campus is currently accepting applications for the new academic year beginning September 2022, and applicants are encouraged to visit website at www.open.uwi.edu or call 264-497-8156 for more information.
